Our client is seeking an experienced LIMS System Administrator to provide operational support for the administration and maintenance of master data within LabWare Version 7.
This is not a development, implementation, or programming role. The focus is on the configuration, administration, and ongoing maintenance of data and system settings required for the effective operation of the LIMS environment.
The successful consultant must already possess hands-on experience with LabWare and be capable of contributing from day one. Internal onboarding will cover company-specific processes and operating procedures only; no technical LabWare training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain master data within LabWare Version 7
- Configure and maintain:
- Analytical methods
- Specifications
- Sampling plans
- Manage LabWare formats and templates
- Ensure system configurations align with business processes and procedures
- Collaborate with laboratory users and stakeholders to understand requirements
- Maintain data quality, consistency, and compliance
- Follow established internal processes and working practices
- Support the resolution and prioritization of system-related requests
Typical Activities
- Creating and updating master data in LabWare
- Configuring methods, specifications, and sampling plans
- Reviewing and processing user requests
- Engaging with laboratory and business users
- Verifying data accuracy and consistency
- Managing incoming support and configuration requests
Candidate Profile
We are primarily looking for a Medior-level LIMS System Administrator, although experienced senior professionals may also be considered if aligned with budget expectations.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Proven hands-on experience with LIMS LabWare
- Strong knowledge of LabWare Version 7 (or a closely related version)
- Experience with master data administration and configuration
- Experience managing LabWare formats and templates
- Understanding of:
- Analytical methods
- Specifications
- Sampling plans
- Ability to understand and translate business processes into system configurations
- Ability to work independently with limited onboarding
- Experience interacting directly with end users and business stakeholders
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in a pharmaceutical or other regulated environment
- Understanding of laboratory operations
- Previous experience within a GMP or pharmaceutical setting
- Professional proficiency in French
Language Requirements
- French is strongly preferred due to interactions with French-speaking users.
- Candidates with excellent English communication skills will also be considered; however, French-speaking candidates will have a clear advantage when qualifications are otherwise comparable.
Working Model
- Hybrid setup
- Preferred presence: 2 days per week onsite
- Some flexibility may be discussed depending on the consultant’s profile
- Availability to attend onsite meetings when required is essential
