Your job responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth functional analyses that serve as the foundation for the implementation of applications, platforms, and websites.
- Identify ambiguities, inconsistencies, and potential pitfalls in business processes and resolve them in close collaboration with stakeholders.
- Apply your analytical skills and knowledge of business process modeling (BPMN), use case analysis, user-centered design, interaction diagrams, and class modeling (UML).
- Map and document both the ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ business processes, translating business needs into clear, functional specifications.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and project managers to ensure accurate implementation of functional requirements.
- Support the project team throughout the development lifecycle, from analysis and design to testing and go-live.
- Begin exploring enterprise architecture practices and tools such as ArchiMate, SPARX or TOGAF.
Your Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Business engineering, business management or equivalent experience (5+ years).
- Proficiency in BPMN and UML; familiarity with ArchiMate or interest in learning enterprise architecture frameworks is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to bridge the gap between business and IT.
- Fluent in Dutch or French, with a strong command of English.
- You are located in Belgium & able to work on-site/remote depending on the client’s needs.
