Our client is looking for a Feature Manager.
As a Feature Manager at our client in the postal and logistics sector, you will play a crucial role in their digital transformation, focusing on customer expectations and enhancing delivery speed and quality. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Business (process) analysis to identify, prioritize, and refine customer needs into a feature backlog.
- Challenging the customer to maximize business value creation.
- Supporting product management to develop and maintain a roadmap with a vision and business strategy.
- Collaboration with and coordination between business stakeholders (such as epic owners, product managers, or product owners) and ICT teams to bridge gaps and ensure alignment on features and stories.
- Collaboration with the RTE’s to deliver features according to the expectations set forward during PI planning.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to business and ICT stakeholders, ensuring continuous alignment.
- Providing solution advice in collaboration with Epic Owners, Release Train Engineers, and Technical Owners.
- Producing documentation to guide development and implementation (Functional Design Document, BPMN, mockups, etc.).
- Managing project progress, adapting work as required, and creating risk mitigation plans, to ensure projects meet deadlines.
Your profile:
- Master of Science or Master of Business Administration degree, or Bachelors with equivalent experience, with at least 5 years of professional experience in business analysis and managing IT program increments.
- Strong experience in business analysis, business process analysis, and associated tools, standards, and methodologies (such as Volere, BABOK, BPMN, UML).
- Strong experience in coordinating feature delivery.
- Strong experience in working in a scaled agile context. Experience with the SAFe framework is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Ability to switch contexts, be a team player, and exhibit leadership qualities such as decision-making, direction-setting, and motivation.
- Autonomous working style, with the ability to make decisions independently and escalate when necessary.
- Experience in the parcels business and e-commerce domain (national and international context) is a plus.
- Experience in event-driven architecture, address recognition, route optimization, map software, and item tracking is a plus.
- Previous experience in the postal and logistics sector is a plus.
- Proficiency in English and at least one of the local languages (Dutch/French), with English being essential.
