IS Transformation Expert

The “IS Transformation Expert” will report to the “IS Transformation Manager,” who in turn reports directly to the CIO.

Mission

In collaboration with a team led by the “IS Transformation Manager,” the expert will be responsible for guiding, defining, and supporting a concrete IS transformation strategy. This strategy aims to establish an IS organization oriented towards services, with the goal of improving operational and financial performance for both internal and external clients.

Based on similar assignments carried out with IS departments in large private companies or public organizations, the expert will identify key internal and external challenges and constraints, define clear objectives to achieve and measure, while ensuring the coherence of this strategy with ongoing IT programs and projects.

The expert will work closely with various business and IS stakeholders in a cross-functional manner within the organization.

Required Experience

  • At least 20 years of professional experience in IT.
  • At least 10 years of experience as a transversal leader of organizational and operational transformation within an IT department.
  • Concrete and proven experience (with two recent references from the last five years) in companies or organizations:
    • With several thousand employees;
    • Offering IT services with internal IT teams and external suppliers to several dozen internal departments;
    • Serving several hundred thousand end clients.
  • In-depth knowledge of managing and optimizing technological infrastructures, including the security and performance of IT systems and networks.
  • In-depth knowledge of industrial software IT.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial management of IT technologies and cost optimization.
  • Mastery of emerging IT trends and their integration into an IT strategy.
  • Experience in this type of mission within the public transport sector is a plus.

  • Expertise in overall IT management and optimization, including:
    • IT governance,
    • Enterprise architecture and technological strategy,
    • Defining strategic roadmaps,
    • Optimizing alignment between business and information technologies,
    • Managing external suppliers,
    • Streamlining application and system inventories,
    • Optimizing IT processes,
    • Establishing KPIs and measuring results.
  • Proven experience in change management, with successes based on various methodologies and techniques in different program contexts, cultures, and company environments.
  • Planning, organization, and coordination skills: ability to analyze and synthesize, implement clear and structured approaches, strong organizational sense, and priority management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, adaptability to different audiences (executive management, middle management, technicians, business teams, etc.).
