Our client is looking for a Data Analyst to join their team. The projects can vary significantly, both in terms of themes and project types (Agile, Waterfall, POC R&D). Each project aims to provide practical and innovative solutions that will contribute to the energy transition and the modernization of infrastructure, supported by modern technologies (AI, Machine Learning, etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Proactively detect data quality issues.
- Propose resolution suggestions.
- Conduct root cause analyses to understand the origin of data quality issues.
- Train data producers on best practices for data quality management.
- Assist the data governance team in fostering a culture of data quality.
Additional Context:
This Senior Data Quality Analyst role is part of an energy transition program initiated by a key player in the energy sector. The objective of this program is to prepare the company to meet the environmental and technological challenges of the energy transition. A Smart Grid sub-program is dedicated to implementing solutions and functionalities within the company’s technical operations, covering areas such as network planning and operations.
Specific Skills:
- Experience as a Data Analyst (3 to 5 years).
- Ability to understand business challenges and their relationship with data.
- Ability to document quality rules, results, and track observed deviations.
- Ability to perform root cause analyses for data issues.
- Ability to propose solutions to resolve data issues.
- Knowledge of data quality dimensions.
- Experience in data profiling and analysis.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Proficiency in SQL query language.
- Passion for staying up to date with technological trends in data quality management.
- Ability to communicate and work independently with various business stakeholders.
- Experience with data profiling libraries such as Soda or Great Expectations (Nice to have).
- Experience with SAP ECC or S4/HANA (Nice to have).
- Experience with SAP SAC Analytics (Nice to have).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Industry-Specific Skills:
- Experience in the energy sector (preferred).
General Skills:
- Fluent French (C1 level).
- University degree or equivalent in IT, Data, or a related field.
Domain Knowledge:
