Our client is looking for a DevOps Engineer (Java Knowledge).
The I-ICT.212 office of Infrabel manages all applications related to railway infrastructure management and the planning of train traffic and infrastructure works. All employees of the Train Service and Works planning offices, signal boxes, and Traffic Control are the end users of our applications. Our applications are critical and are supported by a 24/7 on-call service.
As an Expert Java DevOps, you will be part of a dynamic development team organized according to the Large Scale Scrum (LeSS) model. The scope of your assignment will include:
- Designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines for Java applications using OpenShift.
- Managing and optimizing containerized applications in OpenShift clusters in collaboration with OpenShift administrators.
- Collaborating with development teams to implement and improve automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Monitoring and analyzing the performance of applications and infrastructure to proactively resolve issues.
- Writing and maintaining scripts for automating operational processes.
- Implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with best security practices.
- Providing incident management and troubleshooting support to ensure system availability and reliability.
- Supporting team members in the context of OpenShift.
- In the course of your assignment, you will always respect Infrabel procedures. You are willing to participate in the 24/7 on-call service after thorough training.
Technical Skills:
Mandatory:
- (M) Minimum 8 years of experience in a DevOps role with a strong focus on Java.
- (M) In-depth knowledge and experience with OpenShift and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- (M) Knowledge and experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI.
- Knowledge and experience with at least Java 8 and relevant frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Elastic Search.
- Knowledge and experience with LeSS.
- Knowledge of Dutch and French.
