Our client is looking for an IT Solution Architect
Function Description:
We strive to continually provide our customers with the high level of service and convenience they’ve come to expect in a changing world. A key part of this mission is ensuring we have optimized IT infrastructure — and to do that, we need a qualified and dedicated IT solution architect. Preferred candidates will be skilled at identifying pain points and designing or modifying technical solutions to solve company problems. The IT solution architect will be deeply involved in daily work across IT business units, regularly interacting with both stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Mission Description:
- Develop an understanding of our existing IT infrastructure while actively searching for improvement areas.
- Streamline workflows by implementing inventive technical solutions.
- Engage with stakeholders, updating them on IT development processes and costs.
- Drive organization-wide process optimization.
- Meet short- and long-term business goals.
- Evaluate existing and emerging technologies on a regular basis.
- Design and test technical architecture.
- Connect with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify problem areas.
- Propose IT solutions to company challenges.
- Develop and review code.
- Ensure comprehensive IT documentation.
- Partner and works together with teams across business functions to drive organizational efficiency.
- Communicates concerns and suggestions, both verbally and in writing, towards IT senior management and relevant governance bodies (e.g. steering committee).
- Supports procurement processes and policies. Manage and report on project financial performance.
- Establish, update, and maintain security processes and procedures in collaboration with team members and third-party vendors.
Skills, preferred qualifications and experiences
- At least 3 years’ proven successful [ST1] experience delivering IT Architect Solutions and/or developments.
- Good knowledge of architecture and IT infrastructure components (servers, network, storage, security…)
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies; platforms and tools (Azure, Kubernetes, Docker).
- Familiarity with coding languages, scripting, operating systems, and databases. Experience working with various infrastructure platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills, strong interest in designing creative solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize critical projects.
- (a plus) Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27*, CIS CSC or similar Cyber and/or Information Security Frameworks and SOC2, GDPR for Risk management of company assets.
Languages
- French / Dutch: active knowledge (understanding / speaking / reading) for at least one of the two languages.
- English (understanding / speaking / writing technical documentation / reading): active knowledge
Working hours
- During normal working hours (5 days from Monday until Friday – 7h60 hrs/day – 38hrs/week).
- Teleworking allowed, after running-in period, following 50/50 regime.
