Our client is looking for a Senior SAP BW Consultant
Description
BW7 to BW4HANA
- Experience with designing and implementing BW4HANA solutions using a green field approach.
- Experience with activating, customizing and optimizing BW4HANA business content for PM.
- Good understanding of S4HANA’s PM module, including knowledge of standard PM extractors.
Technical Skills
SAP BW7 & BW4HANA
- Strong hands-on experience with BW4HANA modelling techniques such as CompositeProviders and Advanced DataStore Objects (ADSO).
- Deep understanding of BW7.
- Experience with ABAP programming. o Experience with HANA Calculation Views and SQLScript.
PM Module & Extractors in S4HANA
- Good understanding of the PM module in S4HANA.
- Experience with the standard PM extractors in S4HANA.
- Experience with CDS Views in S4HANA.
Analytics & Reporting
- SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud): Experience with integrating SAC for advanced analytics and reporting, ensuring seamless connectivity with BW4HANA data models.
- BO Webi (BusinessObjects Web Intelligence): Proven background in developing reports and dashboards to support comprehensive business intelligence.
- PowerBI: Knowledge of PowerBI is a plus.
Testing, Troubleshooting & Documentation
Rigorous Testing
- Ability to design and execute comprehensive testing plans (unit, integration, performance) to validate migration outcomes.
- Experience in comparing legacy reports with migrated objects to ensure data consistency and performance standards are met.
Troubleshooting Skills
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Experience in applying quick fixes and optimizations to minimize downtime and discrepancies.
Documentation & Communication
- Competence in documenting technical configurations and any custom adjustments.
- Effective communication skills to interact with both technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the project.
Languages
- Must speak either French or Dutch, in addition to English to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
Additional information:
The mission can be extended for a maximum duration (including the initial period) of 880 working days.
