Our client is looking for a Technical Solution Architect Locker Solutions
Role Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Technical Solution Architect with a focus on IoT to guide the design and implementation of our client's Locker Solutions. Leveraging expertise in AWS and a backend technology stack primarily based on Java and Node.js, this role will ensure architectural consistency, solution quality, and best practices. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between technical and business teams, striking the balance between delivering new features and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Leadership:
- Design scalable, secure, and efficient locker management solutions aligned with business goals.
- Develop and enforce architectural standards and guidelines (including 3rd party suppliers and implementation partners)
Locker Platform Development & Guidance:
- Assist and guide development teams in improving and redesigning the platform to keep up with growth ambitions and new product offerings.
- Create and review technical designs for coherence, scalability, and resilience, taking into account the integration of the platform within the company landscape.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with product owners, developers, and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical architectures.
- Partner with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless deployment.
- Establish a migration approach of legacy systems and act upon it.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 10+ years in software architecture/design
- Experience with IoT-development and operations
- Proven experience with AWS (Lambda, Aurora, S3, RDS, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch)
- Hands-on development expertise in Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js, with a solid understanding of asynchronous programming models.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with API-driven architectures (RESTful APIs, API gateways).
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS/EKS).
- Proficiency in optimization algorithms (volume forecasting, storage optimization, proactive maintenance etc).
- Understanding of Event-Driven Architecture based on Kafka is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven leadership skills, including guiding and mentoring development teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Node.js for building scalable backend services.
- Familiarity with tools like Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Understanding of DevSecOps practices and secure software development lifecycles.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket, ensuring robust and seamless deployment processes.
- Prior experience in logistics or similar domains is a plus.
