Our client is looking for a Unit Manager Ad Interim IT Production
Description
As the “Unit Manager Ad Interim IT Production” within the “Digital Business Solutions (DBS)” department (IT department), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability, continuity, performance, and security of the company’s IT infrastructure services. You are responsible for the “IT Production” unit (various infrastructure teams, over 60 FTEs). These teams are responsible for deploying and managing infrastructure solutions and executing deployment processes.
You will also be responsible for managing the IT infrastructure budget. Additionally, you will determine and develop infrastructure strategies and evolutions in close collaboration with your colleagues from Architecture and Security.
Your Job
- **IT Infrastructure Solutions**: You are responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust, scalable, and future-oriented IT infrastructure solutions, with a focus on high availability, performance, and security, in close collaboration with security, architecture, and application teams.
- **Availability and Continuity**: You are responsible for proactive monitoring, analysis, and optimization of the performance of the infrastructure and cloud platforms. This includes managing LAN/WAN networks, implementing advanced backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.
- **Financial Management**: You manage the entire IT infrastructure budget, including personnel costs, resources, end-user licenses, and software licenses for infrastructure and cloud management. You are responsible for preparing cost forecasts and profitability.
- **Contract Management**: You manage contracts related to infrastructure, cloud platforms, and Managed Services. You monitor supplier performance and ensure SLAs are met.
- **Operations Management**: You are responsible for the daily management of physical and virtual IT infrastructures, including servers, storage, networks, and cloud services.
- **IT Infrastructure Roadmap**: You are responsible for developing, managing, and executing the IT infrastructure roadmap, including planning and executing strategic projects related to on-site and cloud-based infrastructure solutions. You manage project budgets and infrastructure work packages for application development projects.
- **Deployment**: You are responsible for preparing, coordinating, and executing the deployment processes of infrastructure solutions and updates to ensure that new features or improvements can be deployed efficiently and without interruption.
- **OT Infrastructure Hosting**: You manage the infrastructure required for hosting OT (Operational Technology) applications to support critical energy infrastructures and networks. You ensure the integration of OT and IT systems to achieve optimal availability and security.
- **Collaboration and Innovation**: You collaborate with other departments and external partners to integrate IT and OT solutions and drive innovation.
