Mission Description
The consultant will work as a Power Platform Developer within the business unit “IT Infrastructure and operations”.
Consulting mission “Power Platform Developer” to assist DOIO staff and secretariat in automating administrative and repetitive tasks internally the IO business unit.
Mission duration is estimated on 1 year.
Main work areas of consulting mission:
- Develop Power Platform solutions for custom applications about IO administrative processes.
- Rework administrative and secretarial repetitive tasks with power platform capabilities.
- Rework existing MS-Access obsolete applications with power platform capabilities.
- Automate and make IO processes more efficient for repetitive tasks and workflows.
- Create insights for Staff IO through data visualizations and reporting with Power platform capabilities.
- Integrations with other systems such as SharePoint.
- Modernization of certain administrative processes and activities.

Imperative technical knowledge:
- The Microsoft Power Platform Developer must possess a wide range of skills to work effectively with the various components of the Power Platform, such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Power Virtual Agents.
- Technical knowledge and pratical experience of required technologies to be able to start development directly.
Power Apps:
- Knowledge of designing and building custom business applications.
- Understanding of Canvas apps and Model-Driven apps.
- Skill in using connectors for integration with other services.
Power Automate:
- Knowledge of creating workflows and automations.
- Understanding of conditional logic and loops.
- Skill in integrating Power Automate with other Microsoft services and third-party applications.
Power BI:
- Knowledge of designing and building interactive dashboards and reports.
- Skill in using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for data modeling.
- Understanding of data visualization and analysis.
Power Virtual Agents:
- Knowledge of designing and building chatbots without code.
- Understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and conversational design.
- Skill in integrating Power Virtual Agents with other Power Platform services.
Dataverse (formerly Common Data Service):
- Understanding of data modeling and management.
- Knowledge of configuring security and access management.
- Skill in working with entities, fields and relationships.
Integration and APIs:
- Knowledge of using connectors and custom APIs for integration with external systems.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and Web services.
Security and Compliance:
- Knowledge of security practices and protocols within the Power Platform.
- Understanding of compliance requirements and data protection.
Troubleshooting and Debugging:
- Skill in troubleshooting and resolving issues within applications and workflows.
- Knowledge of using tools to monitor and log activity.
Project Management and Collaboration:
- Knowledge of Agile methods and practices.
- Skill in working with teams and managing projects within the Power Platform.
Deliverables:
- Solution analysis for main work areas.
- Well-commented & tested application solutions.
- Design, Development, Delivery and User-Acceptance testings in collaboration business user audience
- Deliver technical documentation.
Partially remote:
50% On-premises ; 50% teleworking.
Remote working allowed after familiarisation period with mission tasks and main work areas.
