Our client is looking for a Microsoft SQL Database Administrator
Description
The customer is in the Dutch speaking part of Belgium and requires local language, preferably to be delivered onsite in Hasselt (north-east Belgium).
Start date is latest early June 2025 for 6 months, extendable.

- Windows server 2019 & 2022
- Active Directory
- Powershell scripting
Job description :
- Installation of AlwaysOn cluster (Windows Fail over Cluster, SQL Server)
- Installation of database (& instances)
- Adding SQL user & permissions
- Adding AD users & permissions
- Patching MS SQL
- Troubleshooting SQL errors, SQL Performance
- Create of Schema's (and proper user)
- Powershell scripts for helping with Windows patching (fail over instance before being patched)
