Our client is looking for a Senior E2E Data Solution Architect
Description
The E2E Data Solution Architect is responsible for designing robust, scalable & cost effective E2E architectures supporting a range of Data Products.
As E2E Data Solution Architect, you analyze the full data value chain (from ingestion to consumption) and you define the most appropriate architecture and underlying technology components to meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
You’re also in charge of defining guidelines and best practices and you monitor their roll out and adoption across the organization (product and platform delivery teams).
In the context of the launch of a new project or data product, you will interact at different level of the organization:
- At portfolio level: you assess the impacts of large projects on the platform and translate these into capabilities (epics) with the associated high level estimates
- At Program level: you design the functional and application architecture patterns required to deliver the expected features and provide guidance on the execution strategy
- At team level: you monitor the right execution of your proposed solution design and you act as mentor towards the Tech Leads
As part of the inlife management of existing data products, you are responsible for ensuring the consistency of the design & architecture across the different delivery teams. You are producing re-usable architecture patterns which are meant to reduce the time to market/time to insight for launching new data products.
You also act as application owner and build your technology roadmap accordingly, in alignment with the product delivery teams.
PROFILE
Education and training
- University Degree in Computer sciences or any other discipline of technical orientation
Experience
Required
- Mandatory prior experience of minimum 5-10 years in a related work experience.
- IT architecture and solution design in a data oriented ecosystem
- Exposure to Cloud native data platforms and modern architectures (event-driven, real-time)
- Thorough understanding of data lifecycle value chain and underlying components (ETL/ELT, DWH/Data Lake)
- Familiar with SDLC tools & framework (CI/CD, Automation, monitoring)
- Previous experience working in a scaled agile environment
- Considered a plus
- Experience with retail, marketing, supply chain and finance.
- Working knowledge on data science development lifecycle.
- Working knowledge on delivering projects in agile mode by using CI/CD capabilities and Azure DevOps pipelines
- Any of the following certifications:
- Agile/SAFe certifications.
- Azure Data Engineer or AWS/GCP equivalent.
- Azure Solutions Architect or AWS/GCP equivalent.
- Certified Data Management Professional (DAMA).

- Azure data ecosystem (ingestion, storage, analytics & data visualization): Azure Ingestion framework, Data Bricks, Azure Synapse, Delta Lake, MS PowerBI
- Data modelling skills (from logical to physical model, different modelling techniques: star schema, data vault) and exposure to MPP frameworks
- Functional and Technical architecture principles
Considered a plus
- Azure subscription administration.
- Code repository management.
- Azure DevOps or equivalent.
Languages
- Excellent command of the English language both written & spoken.
- Optional knowledge of French and/or Dutch and/or Greek and/or Romanian and/or Serbian will be considered an asset
