Our client is looking for an Enterprise Architect.
The Enterprise Architect is responsible for the Enterprise Architecture strategy and roadmap within a specific domain. They work closely with the business director, the Chief Product Owner, the Product Owners, and the Solution Architects to develop an architecture strategy that maximally supports business needs and challenges.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Change & Run Strategy
- In collaboration with the Chief Product Owner, responsible for developing and continuously adjusting the change & run portfolio strategy.
- Ensure that the Change & Run portfolio strategy aligns with the architecture strategy of the P&V group.
- Familiarize with strategic business objectives.
- Participate in transversal budget ceremonies (PBO+ and QBR+) and portfolio Change & Run Board.
- Keep knowledge of the market and competitors up-to-date within the assigned domain.
- Lead in making technology choices aligned with the architecture strategy/roadmap and in line with P&V standards (security and others).

Target Architecture & Roadmap
- Responsible for developing and continuously adjusting the target (intentional) architecture and high-level architecture roadmap for the assigned domain to deliver maximum business value and ensure continuity within the assigned budget.
- Integrate technical innovations and evolutions, and phase out technologies that do not fit the target to support the business agenda maximally.
- Contribute to developing an overarching P&V architecture strategy.
- Collaborate with other EAs to ensure maximum coherence in architecture across domains and maximize asset reusability.
- Set the agenda and participate in the Architecture Board.
- Keep knowledge of technical evolutions/innovations and possibilities in the domain up-to-date; align with fellow Enterprise Architects to ensure new technology can be maximally deployed to achieve strategic goals.

Guidance of Solution Architects
- Responsible for the functional guidance of (a team of) Solution Architects.
- Responsible for making architecture decisions that exceed the level of the Solution Architect.
- Support the 'architectural runway,' create high-level 'enabler epics.'
- Make substantive architecture decisions that are at a level beyond delivery teams (and thus Solution Architect level).
- Provide direction and make important decisions together with the Solution Architects (e.g., regarding upgrades, architecture decisions, etc.).
- Synchronize solution-overarching disciplines such as system & data security, production infrastructure, non-functional requirements (NFR).
- Escalate problems that are at the architecture level.

Stakeholder Management
- Responsible for developing and maintaining good relationships with key IT and business stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment within the entire P&V organization with the target architecture and roadmap.
- Regularly align and ensure buy-in with key stakeholders in business and IT.
- Communicate the 'big picture' to business and IT stakeholders at all levels in the organization.

Quality Assurance
- Ultimately responsible for quality assurance and adherence to architecture principles and standards.
- Delegate this responsibility in execution to the Solution Architects.
- Oversee the execution of quality controls.
- Promote and ensure the application of architecture standards.
- Ensure compliance with standards and protocols.

Service Management Support
- Responsible for supporting the Service Manager in their Service Management responsibilities.
- Provide advice/take actions within the framework of an MI.
Profile Sketch
- Level: Master's degree or equivalent through experience
- Experience: Extensive experience in an IT architect role, passionate about technology and technological innovation
- Skills: Ability to link technology to business needs and strategy and present understandable concepts to business leaders
- Interest/Experience: Collaborative working model and agile work environment
