Our client is looking for a Business Architect.
Description/Role: We are seeking a highly skilled B2B Business Architect to join our “Business Architecture & Excellence Steering” team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the business architecture for the B2B circle, focusing on small to medium enterprises and large enterprises (SME & LE).
Responsibilities:
- Business capability assessment: Capture the strategic and tactical enterprise goals and translate them into underpinning business capabilities and functionalities.
- Business impact & operating model analysis: Assess how projects and initiatives should be incorporated into our existing business operating model and support the organization in major operating model transformations. Ability to assess the business process change impact and drive business process change simplification.
- Architectural shaping of programs & initiatives: Participate in the shaping, requirements gathering, and solutioning process of B2B-related transformation projects. Ensure alignment with the North Star business architecture and architectural guardrails and principles.
- Architectural alignment: Consolidate a comprehensive “B2B business architecture blueprint” in close collaboration with our IT and Network colleagues. This blueprint is a crucial reference document and provides objective guidance for roadmap prioritization, project solutioning, and key decision-making.
- Methodology & Communication: Apply a consistent approach and methodology for capturing and maintaining the business architecture deliverables of the B2B organization in a structured way. Ensure the overall business architecture ambition and objectives are communicated within the broader organization.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a service-oriented company.
- Strong knowledge of business architecture frameworks and methodologies.
- Familiarity with IT development, IT methodologies, and agile ways of working.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with various types of stakeholders.
- Sharp mind: Analytical and decision-making oriented, with strong conceptual skills. Able to challenge ideas and bring up valuable alternatives.
- Creative touch: Able to visualize abstract concepts and create high-level models to extend and mature the business architecture. Experience in modeling business processes and applying industry best practices into business solutions.
- Pragmatic ambassador: Excellent communicator with the ability to address all levels of the organization situationally. Considers business architecture as foundational and supporting rather than dogmatic.
- Open for change: Familiar with working in a dynamic project-based environment with changing agendas and priorities. Proven agile and IT/telecom background is a plus.
- Customer and service-focused: Used to working in a customer and service-focused organization and familiar with corporate B2B environments.

- Practical experience with business architecture frameworks and methodologies.
- Strong affinity with IT development and methodologies.
- Experience in a service-oriented company.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with Confluence, Jira, and LeanIX.
